I recently had the opportunity to do a photoshoot with the fine folks at Launch Chapel Hill, a startup accelerator located in downtown Chapel Hill. Launch is a program funded by UNC Chapel Hill, the Town of Chapel Hill, and Orange County, NC, that supports local entrepreneurs with office space, mentorships, and workshops.
I was hired by Launch to take photos of their current accelerator cohort and past alumni to be used in print and bus ads around town. I was very excited to bring out my huge backdrop and the big softboxes to do some full body shots to be used later in composite images for the ad campaign.
This job was especially fun because I got to meet so many other entrepreneurs, many of whom were current students at UNC. I especially like photographing university students, and these students were so outgoing and fun to work with. Check out an excerpt of the session below!
